Anton Mash, 80, of 725 S. Diamond St. died Wednesday afternoon at Mansfield General Hospital after an extended illness.

Born in Yugoslavia Nov. 9, 1887, he came to this country at the age of 15 and to Mansfield in 1915.  Mr. Mash was an employee of the Mansfield Tire and Rubber Co. for over 40 years.  He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of Catholic Men.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Anna Carr Mash, three daughters Mrs. James Gandert of Mansfield, Mrs. Peter Semich of Islamaroda, Florida,  and Mrs. Cecil Weekley of Glendale, Arizona, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral High Mass will be offered by Msgr. James F. Hebbeler at St. Peter's Catholic Church Saturday at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
